Do's and DON’Ts After Hair Transplant
In this article we will tell you do’s and don’ts after the hair transplant surgeon. If you have a hair transplant surgeon please be careful in this list.
DO have someone drive you home after your procedure. Hair transplant surgery does not typically require strong sedation, but if you’ve been given a sedative, it’s best not to drive under its influence.
DO sleep with the position your doctor said you.
DO use your medications your doctor gave and said to you.
DO use ice cubes after hair transplant 10 minutes in 1 hour until sleeping.
DO be very gentle when washing your hair for the first 4 days.
DO use small massages after 4 days and improve massaging power everyday.
DO hydrate well before and after hair transplant surgery.
DO ready to falling hairs. This is a normal procedure and your hair will fall in first 3 months and they will grow again.
Don’t’s After Hair Transplant
DON’T: Be careful about your sleeping position.
DON’T be alarmed if you experience swelling, especially on days 3 and 4 after the surgery. Swelling is a normal procedure and it will be okey after 5 days.
DON’T: Apply any ice directly to the transplanted areas of your scalp.
DON’T: Wash your hair for the first 2 days.
DON’T: Scratch your scalp.
DON’T: Wear any hats or ball caps for the first three days. Only wear hat that doctor gave you in 5 days.
DON’T: Don’t do any heavy exercise in 10 days.
DON’T use alcohol for 5 days.
DON’T smoke for 3 days.
